Porn is a part of the sex work industry, and we see prostitution as the purest form of it. That is why in our transition away from Christian dating, we have decided to use the legalization of prostitution in America as our guiding dates.

Storey County Commission passes Ordinance No. 38, which effectively legalizes prostitution in the county in 1970 – This is our year 0.

Statutes of the State of Nevada – Fifty-Sixth Session, Officially legalizes prostitution in Nevada (for all counties with less than 200,000 people) in 1971 – This is our year 1.

Storey County was the first jurisdiction in the US to legalize prostitution. The following year it was made legal in multiple counties within the Nevada area.

Currently we are using SW (Sex Work) to represent years after the legalization of prostitution in the US, and PSW (Prior to Sex Work) to represent years before. The current year is 56 SW.

The transition from AD/BC to CE/BCE may have been more harmful then the original dates. CE stands for “Common Era”, but keeping the same Christian dates means that the entire “Common Era” centers around Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is a religious and fictional figure.
